The next Atlanta Police Citizens Police Academy starts March 17!Participants will learn about departmental procedures as well as hear about the many units that comprise the Atlanta Police Department, including 911, Internal Affairs, and the Training Academy. Citizens will participate in a zone ride-along and watch a K-9 demonstration. Participation requires a commitment of three hours, one night a week for an eight week period.Completed applications should be sent to Sergeant F. Claxton at cpa@atlantaga.gov.
